The boys and I went to London for a few days, leaving Marc to knock another couple of chapters into shape in peace. We met up with Kate at St Pancras; Juls and her girls at Westfield; Jo, Martha, Marieke and Nick at Television Centre and MsHedgehog nearby for lunch; Jane, Robert, Ellie and Emily at Gunny and Chris's... but sadly not Sarah in Putney as planned, since William came down with a nasty puking thing on our last night, necessitating an early trip home.

Thank you Gunny and Chris for having us. P and W found the most delightful corner in between Southwark Cathedral and the back of Borough Market, which had ramps, steps and little walls to climb, and a fantastic view of an elevated section of railway line AND several cranes at work on the Shard.
